Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library

Concerts

Plans are in place for the Rancho Bernardo Library concert series for 2017-2018. The coming season opens on September 27, 2017. We have a new program that will allow you to continue supporting the series and secure recognition and tax deductions for that valuable support.

For information on individual and corporate sponsorship opportunities click here.

For highlights of the Jazz Series, click here.

As usual, all concerts will be available to the public at no charge. We will continue our policy of funding these musicians through donations, sponsorships, grants, and support from the Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library.

The Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library are pleased to present a series of classical and jazz concerts at the Library.  All concerts are on Wednesdays, starting at 6:15 PM. Tickets are not required. Children 7 and older may attend with a parent. Concerts are supported by free-will donations, a grant from the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation, and sponsors, including the Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library.

Jazz concerts will also be presented on the 2nd Wednesday of October, December, February, March and April. The schedule may be found here.

You can send inquiries and comments to our Concerts Director Harvey Levine at rbconcerts@earthlink.net.
Check back often for the schedule of concerts to be held beginning this fall.

Note

Because of the Fire Safety Code, seating is limited. The limit will be enforced so please arrive early to assure yourself of a seat.

The concerts, open to the public, will be held in the Library's second-floor Community Room, 17110 Bernardo Center Drive. Please be aware that the parking lot often fills up at that hour. You may find additional parking alongside the library on the 2nd level. For your personal comfort, you may wish to bring a padded seat cushion, and a sweater for when the A/C overshoots the thermostat.

In the case of good books, the point is not how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.
