Lego RobotDec. 1: LEGO Robotics. Build and program robots in this introductory Robotics class using LEGO and the WeDo system. For ages 6-12. 10:30-12:00 pm. Please register online in advance.



Brixology WorkshopDec. 5: Brixology. Join Mad Science at the Rancho Bernardo Library for Brixology! Build a LEGO project and explore fields in engineering. For ages 7-12, 4:00-5:00 pm. Please register online in advance. For more information, call 858-538-8163.


Book Sale Bag PosterDec. 8: Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library Bag-of-Books Sale. Come to the Rancho Bernardo Library and pick up some books at the RB Friends’ Bag sale. Fill a grocery bag with books for $5.00 ($3.00 for FoL members). This is the last sale for 2018! 9:30-3:30 pm




Happy Holidays PosterDec. 8: DIY Holiday Workshop. Please join the fun at the Rancho Bernardo Library right in time for the holiday season. Participate in fun Do-It-Yourself activities, decorate a cupcake, grab a photo prop, and take a memorable picture. For all ages. 11:00 am-12:00 pm. Please register online in advance


Bell Jar ProjectsDec. 10: Bell Jar Ornaments Workshop. Turn an ordinary party cup into an amazing winter wonderland at the Vintage Bell Ornament Workshop at the Rancho Bernardo Library. For ages 13 and up. Please register online in advance.


Dec. 12: Creative Writing Group. If you have a love for writing and would like to develop your skills, this workshop is an excellent place for you. Learn to write short stories and poetry, share your work with others, and discuss & discover each other's creations. For ages 18 and older.

Dec. 12: Ancestor Library Class. Learn how to use the Ancestry Library database and find out more about your family tree. Ancestry Library has resources for genealogical and historical research with more than 1.5 billion names in over 4,000 databases (including U.S. Census; military records; court, land, and probate records; vital and church records; directories; passenger lists, and more). Please register online in advance.

Dec. 13: Holiday Favorites Sing-Along. Come to a Holiday Sing Along at the Rancho Bernardo Library! Enjoy timeless melodies and sing the classics including "Deck the Halls," "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," and "The Coventry Carol." Celebrate the season with familiar folk classics such as "Jingle Bells," "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas," and "Up on the Housetop." Plus, learn a few wonderful tunes like "The Huron Carol," "El Contico Del Alba," and "I Saw Three Ships.” All ages.

Dec. 14: Sensory Storytime & Creative Art. If you like to listen to stories, sing songs, dance, and have some fun, this is the right program for you!   Babies through age 8. Please register online in advance.
